Exceptional views in Patons Rock

The views from our house are breathtaking. From Collingwood and Farewell Spit to the North down towards Nelson in the South. With a brand new, 110sqm wraparound deck to enjoy, you can relax and rejuvenate yourself. Our 1975 house is partially renovated and a cosy woodfire will keep you warm in the winter while still enjoying views of the beach. There is a track through the bush at the front of the property that takes you straight down to the beach and a kayak available if you fancy a paddle. The space The three bedrooms are spacious with bunk beds for the kids. Each room has its own sliding door access to the deck and a built in wardrobe. New carpet and curtains throughout. Our bathroom is a little on the tired side but is large and next on our list for renovation. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, five burner gas cooktop, dishwasher and two fridges. We leave some supplies in the house and you're welcome to use them - please just replace what you use. ****We will be posting more photos soon of all of the rooms****** Guest access You are welcome to use the whole of the upstairs of the house, the deck and the front garden. The downstairs is locked up and we don't recommend going down the internal stairs off the hallway as they are steep and the door at the bottom is locked. There may be guests in the downstairs flat as well but access is quite separate. There is an outside shower and fish cleaning area to wash up after fishing or the beach. It can get a bit dusty in the shower but it’s a great way to get the sand off before heading upstairs - we appreciate that! Other things to note As mentioned, there is a kayak and paddle available. Its stored at the bottom of the bush track to the beach and there is a lifejacket in the hall cupboard that we recommend you use. Use of the kayak is at your own risk. You are welcome to bring a well house-trained dog for your trip - just please keep it off the bed and furniture and clean up any messes if they do occur. Help yourself to the fruit trees and the vege garden but please only take what you need and enjoy.
