The Cottage Coolum Beach (Private Spa, Fire Pit, Cinema Room) Note for guests The Cottage is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We ask guests to only proceed with booking if you can please agree to help us nurture this neighbourhood by adhering to the house rules and spa rules at all times (no loud noise after 9pm). The space The Cottage features: - Late check out until 11am so you can relax and enjoy yourself - Outdoor Spa/Hot tub (guest can adjust the temp - cool in summer, hot in winter) - Fire pit with firewood included - Cinema Room with surround sound – doubles as second bedroom - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with private entrance and yard - 2 king beds - Private access down the side of our property (shared access only for our two onsite accommodation properties The Cottage Coolum Beach & The Retreat Coolum Beach) - Guests self check-in - Only a short 15-minute walk to the pristine, patrolled Coolum Beach - Perfect for a couple, small groups or families looking for some downtime and to enjoy the beautiful Coolum Beach area The property is fringed with gorgeous trees and is home to native birds. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping, make yourself a cup of coffee (and your own bread if you so desire!) and then have a leisurely breakfast on the patio before heading for some vitamin sea. The space - for those wanting more detail :) The Cottage is completely self-contained and positioned at the back of our property. It is fully-furnished with your comfort in mind, with key highlights including:- > King beds in both bedrooms - The main bedroom has a memory foam king Ergoflex mattress. - The second bedroom doubles as the cinema room and has 2 x electric bed bases with 2 x long single bamboo mattresses. The electric bed bases allow the back and leg rests to be fully adjustable to your personal preference. > Cinema room (also doubles as a second king bedroom) with massive 75" TV and JBL SB350 Cinema surround sound unit including subwoofer. Netflix is provided for endless entertainment. > Exclusive Outdoor Spa in a private location with hot and cold outdoor shower. The spa has water jets and lighting which can be turned on and off. The temperature is regulated by guests to their desired temperature which can be cool during summer and nice and hot during winter (up to 40 degrees Celsius!). Yours to enjoy in privacy. > Fire pit with firewood and fire-starting equipment provided. > Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and Nespresso coffee machine with starter pods provided. There is also a bread maker and ingredients to make your own bread if you desire. We also provide tea, sugar, oil, pepper, salt, and starter milk. > Family-friendly set up, with provisions provided for little ones. We provide a high chair, travel portacot and a dining set for kids. > Sunbeds available in the private yard for your enjoyment. > Separate air-conditioning and fans in each bedroom. > Dedicated NBN Wifi (internal router and external outdoor booster for your convenience). > Washing machine, clothesline and laundry powder. > Open planned living room flowing onto timber deck for plenty of space to relax and unwind. > Ample lighting with adjustable brightness and curtains around the deck so you can continue to enjoy the deck at night. Blockout curtains strategically placed for your privacy. > Gas BBQ and outdoor table to share a meal. > A late check out until 11am on the day of check out so you can really relax and sleep in. Guest access Private entrance access (shared only by two onsite holiday properties) down the right side of the front home. The access path is also private and does not interact with the main house. The property has a very private yard and fully fenced enclosure, which is exclusively yours to enjoy.
