Our cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the mountain wilderness offering nature experiences, tranquility and cabin comfort. The cabin was built in 2015 and contains all modern amenities that make the stay easy. Great hiking areas mean that the cabin can be used summer and winter. The space The area is a great starting point for those who like alpine skiing, ski tours in easy and varied terrain, or if you want to take a foot or fishing trip in the mountains. The place is also an eldorado for cyclists with many miles of marked bike trails. The cabin is located in Stavadalen Ski Resort. After the end of the day on the slopes, just drive straight down to the cabin again. Cross-country ski trails just near the cabin. For families with children, a short drive to Nordre Fjellstølen is recommended to start on the "vidda" where there are mile-long trails where the terrain is very child-friendly. Makalausbua is a nice dining place located close to the cabin. Here you can enjoy good homemade food, or you can just enjoy the view on the sunny terrace. The ski resort is located in the middle of the ski slope which is at Makalausfjellet, which in turn is located at 1099 m.a.s.l. with a large network of cross-country skiing trails. Guest access The cabin is about 98 square meters on two floors and a separate annex. Large windows allow the light and nature to flow in and you are close to the mountain wilderness. The kitchen is fully equipped with tableware for 12, and has what you need of kitchen utensils. Two bathrooms mean that you can be two families together and at the same time have plenty of space. Integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and oven with induction top make the cabin stay comfortable. In one of the tiled bathrooms, a combined washing machine and tumble dryer has been installed. Both bathrooms have a shower, sink and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a family bunk bed with double lower bunk, the other three bedrooms have double beds. Adjacent annex has a sofa bed with two beds. Large dining table with the possibility to insert extension on both sides. Other things to note High chair is available for rent.
