Enjoy walks on the Mendips, visit the Mid Somerset Show, pop to the famous Glastonbury festival, soak up the sights of Wells, the smallest city in England - all just down the road from this one-bed apartment in Bowlish, Shepton Mallet. There is no TV so you can switch off and relax. The space This is a lovely apartment where you can enjoy views of nature whilst being within walking distance if town. My neighbours are peaceful and we keep noise to a minimum. There is no TV in the flat. If you're looking for somewhere to retreat, relax, meditate, read, write or enjoy walks in the countryside this space could be great for you. The living room/bedroom is spacious and as well as a sofa and arm chair, offers a comfortable kingsize bed and hanging rail. There is also a basic hairdryer, mirror and ironing board, should you need them. There is high speed wi-fi. You are welcome to read the books in the library while you're here. In the bathroom you can enjoy a deep, relaxing bath with the lulling sounds of the River Sheppey that runs alongside the building, the calls of the wagtails and wrens that nest in the hawthorn tree outside and, sometimes, you'll hear an owl cry at night. Kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, slow cooker and Nutribullet blender. Nearby walks include a lovely stroll through the meadow where you can meet goats, horses and alpacas. It's a ten minute walk (or two minute drive!) to the bustling market town of Shepton Mallet where you'll find a range of restaurants and takeaways - including the wonderful Aurora Kusina that serves delicious filipino dishes.
