Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable, insta-worthy camping escape! The Stargazer is a one-of-a-kind yurt experience just minutes to the beach and located on a peaceful seaside ranch. This unique yurt is 13ft round with a memorizing roof which allows you to sleep under the stars along with a comfy queen size bed along with trendy south-western vibes. The Stargazer is located at Cowtown Glamping Cabins and is the area's newest "Old West" ranch experience complete with a town. This glamping set up is perfect for your adventurer within! Enjoy a comfy queen size bed after a long day at the beach and have a BBQ on the grill. A hot/ cold rinse area up at the stables perfect to get the sand off, and there is a convenient flushable portable potty with hand washing sink nearby. See pictures for reference. Keep in mind the belle tent yurt is a strictly a non- smoking space and is for strictly for 2 guests only (all children must be 12yo and over.) Sorry, no additional guests. Guests will have access to the Stargazer yurt, glampground area, a saloon style bathhouse with hot showers and flushing toilets, an outdoor sink, cornhole area, private outdoor picnic table, BBQ grill and the fire pit with two chairs. Guest do not have access to animal areas, the stables, and are not allowed to go beyond fences, open gates or go inside animal grazing pastures or enclosures. Keep in mind, all visitors must be guests as the public is not granted access to this property. Your temporary gate code is purely for security and part of our house rules are not to give them to others. This means no outside friends or family are allowed to visit here (due to security issues.) You can expect to only see other guests here. I'm available by messaging if you need me. Plan to see livestock being cared for and daily groundskeeping. The ranch is a magical place where you can throw your worries away. Fuzzy animals come up to greet you, a bull peacefully grazes in the distance and you can truly be at one with nature. Cowtown Cabins is a brand new "old west" themed glampground only 6 miles from the beach. At our seaside ranch, there is everything from a tiny house, to canvas yurts, to western huts and even a barndominium house with a jacuzzi and arcade inside! Enjoy close proximity to the beaches without all the traffic and stress and let our barnyard animals greet you instead! Cowtown Cabins is a destination- location where it's easy to make unique memories that will last a lifetime. We cater to solo travelers, couples and families and yes, our ranch can also be rented and split up for groups, organizations, church meets, health retreats and even the occasional western themed wedding. Free parking on site. To get around car is best, UBER and LYFT can also pick up at our location. You can also use DOOR DASH. Just remember to meet drivers at the entrance gate, not the yurt. The Stargazer has an amazing 360 degrees of panels located around the roof canopy to give you the best view of the sky, with an easy clip-on sunshade curtain included. It also has two canvas doors, each with a mosquito net door behind. Roll down canvas blinds, zip open PVC windows to keep out heavy rain, and behind them, a mesh layer to keep out mozzies and allow maximum airflow in summer. The space sleeps 2 guests (children must be over 12yo at our glampground.) Included in your stay: -One queen size bed with clean linens -A handy 3-speed fan -Multi electrical sockets with two USB ports -Sitting area with a chair and books -Picnic table with floating chandelier -Fire pit with two chairs -Outdoor hot/cold rinse area at the stables -Four stall saloon style bathhouse -Large outdoor sink w/ two hoses Special note: This experience is defined as camping and is a rustic-type stay. The yurt tent does not have air conditioning or heat. If you're looking for modern amenities like air/heat, consider staying at our award-winning tiny house or barn house which are also on the ranch. The Stargazer is one of two beautiful Lotus Belle yurts we have pitched here at Cowtown. Plenty of room for two guests, there's also an outdoor grill to prepare your favorite meal, a picnic table and a fire pit with two chairs included. Inside the space is a comfy queen size bed with clean linens, a sitting area with books and major western-boho vibes throughout. You'll be happy to know the glampground has WIFI access so you can easily keep up with work and play along with being just minutes from popular beaches. In fact, Cowtown Cabins is centrally located with a Mc Donald's, Starbucks, 2 grocery stores and even a pharmacy nearby. Everything you could want will be at your fingertips! Cowtown is located in Selbyville, Delaware which sits near the border of Maryland and is very close to Ocean City, MD. The property has been a horse rescuing ranch for over two decades and is now expanding to offer many unique structures in an "old west" theme. Cowtown Cabins is under construction and will be completed in 3 phases. Two belle tent yurts have been erected and a bathhouse is in the works. Cowtown will stay open year-round and be available for couples, families, groups, organizations, retreats and even the occasional western themed wedding. We hope to see you soon at the ranch! FAQ's 1. Can I bring kids? Children must be ages 12yo and up for both yurts (Stargazer & Painted Pony.) 2. Can I smoke? The yurts are strictly NO smoking inside, no vaping and no marijuana smoking as the next guest will appreciate an odorless welcome and you'll avoid being charged an extra "deep cleaning" fee. 3. Which yurt should I choose? The main difference between the Painted Pony yurt and the Stargazer yurt is the roof and setting. The Stargazer yurt has a clear roof and sits in the open. (Keep in mind elements out of our control like wind, dust, pollen counts can make the Stargazer yurt roof less clear.) The Painted Pony yurt, has a regular canvas roof and sits in the shade. Both yurts have 3-speed fans included as the yurt tents do not have AC/ heat. 4. Extra guests? For the 2024 season, the yurts have a strict 2 guest only policy. 5. Can friends (not on my reservation) come visit me? No. All visitors here must be registered guests as the public is not granted access here. 6. How far is the beach? North Ocean City, MD and Fenwick Island DE are both only 6 miles away. 7. Is the new bathhouse a far walk? No, the four-stall "saloon style" bathhouse is very close and well-lit at night. Please remember to bring your own bath towels & beach towels. 8. How secure is the camping area? There is a coded entrance gate at the property entrance along with 6 outdoor security cameras that stay on 24 hours a day for guest and livestock safety. The locations are: 2 at the entrance gate, barn house entrance/building overhang, tiny house entrance, horse grooming area, parking area and inside the stables. These outdoor cameras also record at night and are available for any emergency services to review. 9. Are there animals nearby? Yes! Cowtown is named after our unique Scottish Highland bull with one horn up and one down. You'll see “Herbie” peacefully grazing in a nearby pasture along with horses, goats, an alpaca, a fluffy sheep, a rare curly-haired pig, a peacock and fancy top-hat chickens that all call the ranch, home. 10. What on-site activities are there? Our most popular experience is "Chores N Tour” where you meet up with Shelley to feed all 20+ animals. Go ahead! take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca, play the rollover challenge with Charlotte the pig and feed the jumping goats. As a bonus, Shelley will also let you check out the inside of any unoccupied Airbnb's on the property to plan your next trip! Chores N' tour is $10/ person and lasts between 60 minutes. Also on-site, are Brush N Bond sessions, horse whispering lessons, farm animal paint sessions, and children's pony rides. Sorry, no adult riding. You can book activities and get available times once you check in. 11. Do guests have access to the entire ranch? No, guests have access to the glampground, cornhole and parking area here at the ranch. The rest of the property is reserved for animal pastures (habitats) and fenced off for safety. Animals are easily viewed from all locations. 12. What sounds can I expect to hear? Expect to hear typical sounds of nature such as crickets, owls and the crackling of a fire. In the morning, you'll hear our sweet goat trio, Charlotte the pig and her excited "oinks" along with the occasional "honk" from Petey our peacock who is ready for breakfast! Luckily for all of us, there are no roosters ;)
