Chalet Erika for 8 people

Spend a wonderful time in our spacious and cozy chalet. The chalet is located with a fantastic view, in the idyllic village of Ried-Mörel, just a gondola ride from the Riederalp. In summer, the starting point for hikes or Mountain bike excursions, in winter the ideal start to the ski/snowboard world of the Aletscharena. The chalet offers upscale amenities with plenty of space to feel good and relax. Free parking is available at the house. The space The open-plan living room in Chalet Erika is flooded with light through the many windows and is therefore bright and cozy. Dining area, living room and kitchen form the heart of the house. A glass door leads to the conservatory and one of the bedrooms with underfloor heating. In the house on the first floor is another bedroom with fitted wardrobe, opposite is the renovated bathroom with toilet, shower and sink (+hairdryer) at the end of 2022. In the living room, the living area with bed extension invites you to relax. The 65-inch TV is attached to the wall and offers Astra-Sat TV and various streaming services (smart TV with internet access, your login for streaming services required.) Via the stairs, you get to the 1st floor. There you will find two cozy bedrooms, with fitted wardrobes and a bathroom with toilet, bathtub and washbasin (+hairdryer). Around the living room, a balcony invites you to sunbathe, two folding tables are attached to the balcony and there is an outdoor seating area there. Garage and basement are not currently rented. The kitchen is functionally equipped with toaster, kettle, a Dolce Gusto machine (capsules can be bought at the local supermarket), a hand crepes maker and fondue pot. We allow ourselves to charge CHF 20 per person for the linen package (bed linen and towels). Please note that the bedding is available for self-catering. The tourist tax as well as free parking at the house is already included in the travel price. The cable car in Ried-Mörel can be reached from the chalet in about 800 meters on foot in 10 minutes or in 2 minutes by car. Guest access The ground floor, as well as the upper floor are with the 4 bedrooms and the conservatory to your accommodation. The basement and garage are currently not included in the rental. Your cars can be parked free of charge directly in front of the chalet. 3 cars can be parked right by the house. A key box is located at the front door for your flexible check-in and check-out. Other things to note Ried-Mörel is about 1,200 meters away and can be reached by car via a serpentine road. The path to the Riederalp, is about 2000 meters, leads by cable car or on foot/bike up. The Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp are car-free zones. You can also arrive by train, in Brig you get on the train in the direction of Mörel, there you take the gondola in the direction of Ried-Mörel. You can walk to the chalet in about 10 minutes. The cable car station, a small supermarket (not always open, please provide drinks and food in the valley upon arrival) and a church are centrally located in the village. Free parking is available directly at Chalet Erika.
