Est. finish time is late 2026 The space This beautifully appointed South Georgia country home boasts plenty of room for the entire family to gather and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a 2-acre lakefront retreat. Family room and kitchen is open with plenty of seating for the entire family. Kitchen is fully appointed with coffee maker, blender, air fryer, crockpots, dishes, pots and pans and baking dishes. Gas stove and stainless-steel side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker and dishwasher. Farm sink with window above overlooking the spillway and deck. Kitchen table seats 8 people comfortably. Family room features 4 rocking reclining chairs and full-sized couch with sides that recline out. Gas fireplace and sliding doors which lead to the deck that overlooks the lake. **FYI - Hurricane Helene destroyed our dam so the lake is empty as of Oct 2024. Being repaired. Est. repaired time is late summer 2024. See pictures.** Home was unharmed and property is still breathtaking and beautiful. ** Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom features king sized bed, mounted TV and sliding doors to a private patio hosting a hot tub for your soaking pleasure. 2nd bedroom is across from the master and features a king-sized bed and mounted TV. These 2 bedrooms are separated by a private full bath with large walk-in shower. 2 other bedrooms each feature queen sized beds and private TV's. Front room leading from the welcoming front porch has a barn door and pull-out sofa sleeper for an additional private bedroom space. Venture downstairs and enjoy a large TV with games, 2 sets of bunk beds plus another single bed plus a private full bath with walk-in shower. Inside laundry room with full sized washer & dryer. Large private bath with dual sinks and walk-in shower is on the main level for easy guest access. Main deck features charcoal grill (charcoal and lighter fluid in garage), large table with 6 chairs, 4 lounge chairs surround a nice firepit to enjoy the evening sunsets overlooking the lake and historic area damn. Private wood deck down by the spillway features rocking chairs to enjoy the serenity of the property and a large fire ring for bonfires where making smores is a must. Entire property is fenced for your furry friends and kids. Rack of kayaks can be used to enjoy the lake. Life jackets are required which are stored in the garage. There is a 2 person swing down by the spillway and a single swing that swings you out over the lake. We are a kid and pet friendly family and encourage you to bring yours to enjoy family time. At night you'll hear the hoot owls and see more stars than you ever knew existed. This home is located in a very small town of Kite GA which only offers a Dollar General store and 1 gas station. Closest grocery store is 30 minutes away so be sure to bring your own groceries. Home has spices and most condiments you'll need. Family friendly restaurants in nearby towns 30-45 minutes away. Be careful driving at night as you'll see lots of deer crossing the roads. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway for yourself and your family or even a business/church retreat center.....this home would be perfect!!! Welcome to our Home away from Home! There are property owner's ATV's and minibikes that are not allowed to be used by guests for safety measures. Other things to note We are located on a private lake that is owned by the homeowners surrounding the lake. NO HUNTING allowed but plenty of fishing and kayaking opportunities. NO SHOOTING OF FIREARMS on property. **Lake was emptied due to Hurricane Helene in October 2024 destroying the dam. See additional pics. Being repaired. EST. time to repair is later summer 2026
