Charming family chalet in Grimentz

A charming village maisonette in one of the most picturesque villages in the region. With a large lawn and an old cherry tree, a short walk to the playground. A great place for an outdoor morning yoga practice just before a hike, climb or bike getaway. Or just sit with a book while contemplating the tranquility. The space This is an old chalet, made "by hand" by one of our ancestors. Himself a man of the plains, he married a woman, a native of the village of Grimentz, who is the last generation of our family to have made the transhumance. The chalet was converted from a raccard. Its dimensions and orientation were defined by a very old construction. The staircase between floors is very narrow, the wooden floor creaks underfoot. You would be at our place in the authentic Anniviarde dwelling. Its equipment was chosen in the spirit of recovery, close to our philosophy of life. We decided to keep its look old, reminiscent of our grandparents' generation. It's a choice and we strive to stay true to it. However, this is where we recharge and slow down.
