The space The property was designed for spending time outside, with multiple gathering areas spread naturally throughout the grounds. Stone pathways wind through mature landscaping, connecting patios, lounge spaces, hammocks, swings, and the lakeside fire pit at the very end of The Point. Guests can enjoy: • Hot tub overlooking the lake • Large lakeside fire pit • Hammocks and swings throughout the property • Dock access for fishing, swimming, and boating • Charcoal grill + small Blackstone griddle • A large deck extending directly over the water with lounge chairs and front-row lake views — the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or simply listening to the water • A smaller covered patio with a high-top table and seating for four, ideal for cards, cocktails, or escaping the afternoon sun • A larger patio just steps from the kitchen that serves as the main outdoor gathering space, complete with outdoor dining, grills, and some of the best sunset views on the property The property intentionally feels connected to nature rather than overly polished or commercialized. Uneven stone paths and changing terrain are part of the character and charm of the space. WATER ACCESS The dock is a favorite gathering spot during warmer months and offers easy access for swimming, fishing, and boating. Boat slip access may be available with advance approval depending on boat size and scheduling; advance approval is required before arrival. Guests may also have access to outdoor equipment including: • Paddle boards • Lily pad • Kid-sized kayak Please note: water equipment can occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, weather, or damage, so if these items are important to your stay, confirm availability before arrival. Also if you require certain life jacket sizes, please double check with the host in advance. Fishing poles, bait, groceries, and other supplies can also be conveniently delivered to the house through Walmart+ during your stay. INSIDE THE HOME Inside, the home combines warm wood interiors, soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and thoughtfully collected furnishings to create a cozy and comfortable lake house atmosphere. Natural light pours through the home throughout the day, and many rooms offer beautiful views of the lake and surrounding trees. The main living area features a very comfortable oversized couch that’s perfect for afternoon naps, slow mornings, or family movie nights after a day on the water. Guests will also find puzzles, board games, and a record player with a mix of both vintage and newer records to enjoy during their stay. During the colder months, the home becomes especially cozy with heated concrete floors and a wood-burning fireplace. The sunroom includes additional seating, foosball, games, and a relaxed hangout space for both kids and adults. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked for guests who enjoy cooking and hosting. Unlike many vacation rentals, this kitchen is equipped with quality cookware, serving pieces, kitchen tools, and thoughtful extras that make it easy to prepare full meals during your stay. Coffee and tea are provided, along with a Nespresso machine, Ninja drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, frother, electric kettle, and fresh hand-press juicer for slow lake mornings. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS PRIMARY SUITE - The primary bedroom features a king bed, attached full bathroom, blackout curtains, dedicated workspace with double monitors, and beautiful lake views to wake up to each morning. SECOND BEDROOM - The front bedroom includes a queen bed plus a twin-over-full bunk bed, making it a great setup for families or groups. This room also includes a small private balcony, TV/DVD player, and ample closet space. LOFT - Upstairs, the loft sleeping area offers a full bed and elevated views of the lake through surrounding upper windows, creating a cozy retreat-like space. The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests, though additional guests may be accommodated using couches and air mattresses. GOOD TO KNOW • Maximum of 4 vehicles allowed • Parking area is tight — 2 vehicles fit most comfortably • Pets allowed only with prior approval and pet fee • Boat slip use requires advance approval • This is a peaceful lake retreat and not intended for parties or large events • Instacart, DoorDash, and Walmart+ are all available delivery options if you’d rather settle in and avoid another trip into town. • Charcoal and lighter fluid are not provided by the host, though leftover supplies from previous guests may occasionally be available • One small propane tank for the Blackstone griddle is provided • Firewood is included for guest use Guest access Guests have access to the entire space, other than one linen closet that will remain locked.
