Description
It just flows.... From the front door entry, down 3 split levels to the misty and mystical views across the Sassafras gully. Like a bridge, Treehouse is built on big timber pylons, the 3 bed room home cantilevers off the side of the valley. This home is for the serene and peaceful at heart, and when you enter, you will feel you could just sit down and write your book, or at least a poem. Treehouse is a 4 minute walk through a leafy flower-filled lane to the village. The space There are a lot of windows to feel like you are in the canopy, the home is cosy, open plan and split levelled. The 2 main bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house so a sense of privacy. It feels sometimes like you are waking up in a creamy coloured eggshell. The light is constantly changing, its peaceful. Guest access You have the entire house and carport to yourself There are 3 Bed rooms: 1 Queen size master bedroom with ensuite and 2 double size bed/rooms that can share second bathroom. Other things to note I'm Lorenna and I have offered Treehouse for guest stays since 2014. Treehouse is not literally a treehouse but it Feels like one as it is perched up high on the edge of a gully, it is a timber home with lots of windows and changing light. Proudly I do most of the renovations here myself: I personally replaced all the decks with hard wood in 2019, with a hand on the structural heavier stuff from my sculptor mate Nic Compton, The kitchen I replaced in 2023 with my Jussy bro-bro, and my beloved Matthew and I painted through out in 2022. So this home comes to you as a growing labour of love. 2023 has seen the replacement of sash windows by Cockatoo Tim, the kitchen renewal by bro and me, and the new portico by Cockatoo Tim and myself. Barb looks after the cleaning and set up for you when you come. She loves the house and we are lucky to have her soft but meticulous touch to the house. Set-up is an an underrated art! Homes that live in temperate rainforests need constant up-keep but we feel the home is much loved even though it always needs a little 'phoomphing' somewhere.
