Big Sturgeon lake house on the gold coast

Lake living at it's best. Nestled next to a state park forrest and on a stretch of some of the softest golden sand in Minnesota, you'll enjoy large views of the lake and amazing sunsets from our 2 story lake house. With plenty of room for large groups, a sauna, multiple fireplaces and a kitchen on each level, stay in a north woods setting with tons of modern amenities. The space This mid-century style home has multiple levels of living, a separate sauna house, a large upper deck for morning coffee or meals outside and plenty of beds to sleep guests of all ages. In the summer enjoy free use of our two kayaks and paddleboards. Walk and swim for football fields at a time on soft wavy sand that feels more like the ocean than a lake - right outside our door. Side lake is an amazing community with a chain of lakes that are connected by channels. There are two restaurants nearby and gas/convenience stores to keep basics stocked during your stay. McCarthy Beach and state park is located right next to our lake house, separated by a small stretch of forrest (about a 5 minute walk to the beach itself) and is one of the most popular places to spend summer weekends in the area. In the quiet winter months you'll see the occasional snowmobile cross the lake but many properties nearby close up for the winter. We love the area so much we decided to make it our year round home.
