Beautiful Outdoor Oasis with Pool in South Tampa

Welcome to the Cactus Can! Located in a quiet South Tampa neighborhood. Enjoy our pool and fenced outdoor living area with: Tiki hut, grill, fire pit, chiminea & seating area. Within a 3-4 mile radius of: Raymond James Stadium, Convention Center, Amalie Arena, Riverwalk, Steinbrenner Field, TIA airport, Westshore business district & 2 malls. Walk 3 blocks to Trader Joe’s, 4 blocks to Publix. The perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend or use as a base camp for exploring Tampa Bay. The space Completely renovated this vintage 1963 Airstream Overlander, Land Yacht (26 foot) has new everything – from the frame it sits on, to the ice-cold air-conditioning system on the roof. The Airstream is located in our fenced outdoor living area. You have access to the following areas: pool, lounge chairs, Tiki hut, grill, gas fire pit, chimenea and fire bowl (wood available for purchase). The lanai area and shed are private areas and off limits to all guests. Please note, even though the Airstream has been completely renovated, updated and modernized it is not like staying in a home or hotel. While some people may call it Glamping, it is basically a higher end camping experience. Please be sure that this kind of experience is right for you. SLEEPING A full-size futon doubles as a couch and bed. A seating bench pulls out to make a twin sized sleeping area. Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided. BATHROOM There is a small bathroom with a toilet and sink (there is no shower in the Airstream). There is a large outdoor shower, just off the pool deck exclusively for your use. Additionally, you also have access to the outdoor pool bath with a sink and toilet. Towels are provided for bathing and the pool. KITCHEN/COOKING While there is no “kitchen” in the airstream, it has a small fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker (2 coffee pods per day, per person are provided), electric hot water/steam kettle, toaster, small blender, utensils, plates, bowls, coffee cups, drinking glasses, wine glasses and cutting boards. All major food delivery services deliver to our neighborhood as do select local restaurants. POOL AREA The pool is not "shared" you will have it all to yourself. There is no lifeguard on duty. No glass in the pool or on the pool deck. No food/eating in pool. No diving, running or jumping. No unregistered guests. The pool is not heated. NOVEMBER - MARCH STAYS During these months, our temperatures can and do fluctuate a lot. Please note the following for all stays booked November - March. *The ONLY showering area available is the outside shower. *There is no "central" heating, but there is a portable heater. *The pool is not heated during these months, the temperature will vary anywhere between 68 - 78 degrees depending on the day. EXTENDED STAYS Please contact me if you are interested in an extended stay of 30 days+ Guest access Parking will be in the driveway and is limited to one vehicle.
