Morningstone is a masterwork mosaic of places we have loved: European castles, Cotswold stone, Mediterranean stairways & arches, and Guatemalan courtyards, all set among indigenous plantings, orchard, and gardens. Greg wondered, “What could one man build with his own hands?” So, he cut & set each stone. Sawed & shaped trees. Forged & hammered iron. Three self-contained suites wait to welcome you, each with a private entrance, oceanfront balcony, and just steps down to a sandy beach with kayaks. The space Oceanfront 2 is one of three suites at Morningstone (see also Oceanfront 1 and 3). It has an ocean-view tumbled stone shower, queen-sized bed with goose-down duvet and down pillows, dining table and chairs, an easy chair, books and games. The private Juliet balcony has a table and chairs overlooking the sea. Kitchenette is well-equipped with fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, and French press coffee maker. Provisions for breakfast on your first morning include fruit, granola & milk, homemade bread, butter & jam, coffee, tea and cream. Heated stone floors keep the room snug and warm in cooler weather. Sleeping mats for additional guests are available. Guest access Beach access, courtyard, outdoor gardens and seating areas with lounge chairs and a large propane barbeque with utensils are available to guests. Other things to note BC FERRIES B.C. Ferries vehicle and foot passenger reservations (online) between Tsawwassen and Mayne are highly recommended year 'round.
