Convenient walking or biking access to all of town's shops and restaurants as well as the beach and Heritage Bike Trail. In the heart of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, this is the perfect starting off spot for you to enjoy all the beauty Leelanau County has to offer. The space Our space is ideal for a couple or small family. There is one bedroom, which offers a king size memory foam mattress. We also have a pullout queen size hide-a-bed. We can provide a porta crib if you need one - just let me know before arrival. Our listing is not set to "pet friendly", but we love dogs and we would love to accommodate your stay, so send me a message if you'd like to bring your pup! For those allergic to dogs, please take note that there have been dogs in the cottage. We have a window AC unit in the bedroom during summer months. The living room does not have AC. There is an overhead fan in the living room as well as a portable fan available for use. Other things to note My husband and I live next door with our two dogs Finley and Shay, who will most likely say hi to you through the fence. Although we are close by, we don't plan to interact with you (unless you need anything), as we know privacy is important for relaxing and enjoying your vacation.
