Porthole Cottage is a stylish coastal bolthole, just behind the dunes at Beadnell Bay… simply unpack the car, switch off the phone and relax. Interiors have a nautical vibe beautifully presented throughout: the comfortable sitting room has an open fire, the kitchen is well equipped and the three stylish bedrooms are perfect for five guests. Outside there’s a lovely garden which is a great spot alfresco dining. Porthole Cottage is just a short walk to the pubs, cafes and store. Pack up a picnic and head to the long sandy beach, feel the sand between your toes and go for a paddle... This is the Heritage coast, well known for excellent sailing, fishing and wind surfing. Following one of the coastal footpaths taking in views of dramatic cliff top ruins including Dunstanburgh Castle. Beyond the Castle is Craster, a picturesque village famous for kippers and other smoked delicacies. A variety of seabirds and grey seal colonies can be observed on the Farne Islands by taking a boat trip from Seahouses. Entertainment: Smart TV, DVD Player, Bose iPod dock. For families: cot stair gate and high chair available. Outside: enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and barbeque. Parking: parking for 2 vehicles. General: WiFi. bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels.) Oil fired central heating. Pets: pets welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.
