Chata na Kowalówkach — a cottage in the mountains

The log cabin in Kowalówki in Piwniczna-Zdrój is a unique place located in a mountain clearing at an altitude of 650 m above sea level, surrounded by forest and fresh mountain air. It is an ideal proposition for people looking for peace, contact with nature and comfort in a beautiful, traditional interior. 100 m² of space, traditional log architecture, a large wooden terrace with a panoramic view make the cottage perfect for a family holiday, a trip with friends or intimate stays. The space Guests have the entire cottage to themselves, including: – 3 bedrooms (the cottage can accommodate a maximum of 10 people) – living room with dining area – a fully equipped kitchen with a traditional wood-burning stove and a bread oven - bathroom – very large wooden terrace with panoramic view - lockable garage There is a ping-pong table and foosball in the garage, and you can have a campfire or barbecue on the property. The cottage is bicycle-friendly and is an excellent base for active people. In the immediate vicinity there is a family apiary, where you can see how natural, ecological honeydew honey is made. The cottage in Kowalówki is a great base for lovers of hiking, cycling, horse riding, and in winter – skiing and ski tours. Nearby there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bike paths, ski lifts, a horse riding center, a mineral water pump room, a climbing wall and the atmospheric restaurants and cafes of Piwniczna-Zdrój. The area offers numerous hiking trails. For the persistent, trips to the Slovak Litmanova are also possible. Guest access Guests have the entire property at their disposal, including a terrace, garage, parking space and the area around the cottage, ensuring full privacy and a comfortable stay. Other things to note The facility accepts a stay with a dog (one-time fee of PLN 150). It is possible to charge an electric car for an additional fee – please contact us in advance. Upon arrival, a refundable deposit of PLN 1,000 (cash) is collected, returned at check-out after checking the condition of the facility. Due to the mountainous location, the last section of the access road leads along a steep dirt road; in more difficult weather conditions, it is possible to leave the car lower.
