Our log cabin in Kowalówki, Piwniczna-Zdrój, is a unique place situated in a mountain clearing at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level, surrounded by forest and fresh mountain air. This is the perfect choice for those seeking peace, contact with nature, and comfort in a beautiful, traditional interior. With its 100 m² of floor space, traditional log architecture and large wooden terrace offering panoramic views, this cottage is perfect for a family holiday, a getaway with friends or a cosy stay. The space Guests have the entire cottage to themselves, including: – 3 bedrooms (the cottage can accommodate a maximum of 10 people) – living room with dining area – A fully equipped kitchen with a traditional wood-burning stove and a bread oven – a bathroom – Very large wooden terrace with panoramic views – Lockable garage In the garage, there's a table tennis table and table football, and on the property, you can have a bonfire or a barbecue. The cottage is cycle-friendly and makes an excellent base for active people. Right nearby is the family apiary, where you can see how natural, organic honeydew honey is made. The cottage in Kowalówki is an excellent base for those who love hiking, cycling, horseback riding and, in winter, skiing and ski touring. Nearby, you'll find indoor and outdoor swimming pools, cycle paths, ski lifts, a horse-riding centre, a mineral water pump room, a climbing wall, and the atmospheric restaurants and cafés of Piwniczna-Zdrój. The area offers plenty of hiking trails. For the more adventurous, there are also options for hikes towards Litmanová in Slovakia. Guest access Guests have the entire property to themselves, including the terrace, garage, parking space and the area around the cottage, ensuring complete privacy and a comfortable stay. Other things to note Dogs are welcome at the property (one-off charge of PLN 150). It is possible to charge an electric car for an additional fee—please contact us in advance. Upon arrival, a refundable deposit of PLN 1,000 (in cash) is collected, which is returned at check-out after the property has been inspected. Due to the mountainous location, the final stretch of the journey follows a steep dirt road; in more challenging weather conditions, it may be possible to park the car further down.
