Located between the village of East Linton and the market town of Haddington, Over Hailes is the perfect base from which to explore all that East Lothian has to offer. The cottages are only a 15-20 minute drive from world-class golf courses in North Berwick, Gullane and Dunbar; not to mention the stunning local beaches and coastline. There is easy access to Edinburgh City Centre from our local train station in East Linton ( 5 min drive to the station, trains to Edinburgh Waverley take 18-24 min) The space The Stables is a three bedroom cottage, completely on ground level, with no steps into the property or once inside. It may be suitable for those with mobility issues. The cottage has an open plan living room and kitchen area. The bedroom off the living room to the left has twin beds and an en-suite with shower over bath. This hallway also has access to the back door leading to the patio area, with views over the western fields. Off of the living room in the other direction is a small hall leading to another twin room with shower en-suite, and a double room with a super king bed and shower en-suite. There is reliable WIFI, with a Smart TV and a selection of board games and DVDs. The Stables has a washing machine (but no dyer), a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, fridge/freezer, hob with 4 burners, oven, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, etc. We also provide tea bags, sugar, instant coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper. Included in your stay will be all linens, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels and loo roll. We do not provide toiletries. Guest access You can park in the courtyard outside your cottage for loading only. Please park across the lane in the carpark. There is outdoor seating provided in the courtyard in front of your cottage, as well as at the back in the private patio. Other things to note *There is a flat with residents above this cottage. We ask that noise at night is kept to a minimum after 10pm* Please note that this cottage is on a working farm, and as such there will from time to time be noise and activity associated with tractors and people at work! *Please take care when walking around the farm, especially with children. Caution is required as there are often large farming vehicles and lorries using the farm roads.
