Welcome! Birdie Blue Yurt is Located in the mountains of North Georgia & perfectly nestled in the valley of Lookout Mountain, on a Hang Gliding & Paragliding Flight Park. Watch gliders fly above from the deck & still have Chattanooga attractions only a short 20 minutes away! Fire pit access for starry nights, creek access for exploration. Cleaned by professional cleaning company. Beautiful mountain view. We have 3 yurts on the property to potentially accommodate a group. The space A true yurt is a circular tent of felt or skins on a collapsible framework, used by nomads in Mongolia, Siberia, and Turkey. Our yurt differs in material but not structure. Our Mountain View Yurt was hand built with recycled, rough cut lumber and was built to last. In fact, she has been standing proudly since 1995. We respect transparency here in the valley of North Georgia, and want it to be clear that our yurts are NOT the Hilton 😁 Not to say that they aren’t nice, just to say that they are different 😊 I categorize them as Glamping. You are under the stars with all the basic amenities you could need, however, nature still plays a role in peak comfort. The yurt is cooled with a window a/c unit and heated by baseboard and stand alone heaters. In the dead of summer, it may still be a bit warm during the day and just the opposite in the dead of winter at night. We’re a place for the explorers with an outdoorsy heart, but maybe not for the bougie vacationer 🙃 All in all... She's pretty and round in all the right places. Laid out perfectly to accommodate you + one, so load up that honey of yours for the weekend getaway you deserve. Guest access The entire unit.
