The Glamping Village at Westport House

With 400 acres of Irish countryside at your fingertips, there's no end to the adventures that await you. The space Our Glamping Site is located on the 400-acre heritage grounds of Westport House Estate; a 10 minute stroll from Westport town and 10 minute drive from Croagh Patrick. Families, couples and hikers alike will revel in the park’s rich historical surrounds, enchanting forest walks and action-packed adventure activities and attractions. Relax in one of our 5-meter Bell Tent (sleeps 4) with two single and one double beds immaculately made with crisp white cotton. In each tent, you'll find cushions and throws, two bedside lockers with lamps, a picnic basket, boot bin to keep shoes neat & tidy and a power strip with USB charging. Every Glamping Tent sits upon a large, flat and sturdy wooden platform and comes with two large and comfortable outdoor seats and a picnic bench. You'll be assigned your own car parking spot per tent which is adjacent to the pedestrianised and car-free village (any additional cars may park in the nearby car park). Enjoy free use of our hot showers and toilets, hair dryers, Wifi, our football pitch, Foot Golf course, refuse and recyling area, playground, sand pits and recreation room nearby. Our onsite kitchenette features a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster so you may heat up food. We have an onsite laundry for guests. Dine on-site and delight in delicious fresh wood burning pizza and a range of local beers, wines and spirits at Gracy's Pizzeria, Bar & Bistro. In our On-Site Cafe, we’re also now serving fabulous new coffee, specially roasted for us by Bean West, a family-run boutique coffee roasting business here on our doorstep in Westport. Or why not borrow one of our BBQs to toast some marshmallows or rustle up dinner? Glamping guests enjoy discounted entry to historic Westport House, the award-winning Pirate Adventure Park (and the next day free) as well as the Ocean Spirit Leisure Centre, Gym & Spa including our 20m swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi and Sauna/Steam room. Our NEW Interactive-Gaming Room creates an immersive playground of solo games, group tournaments and guaranteed fun for all ages! Ideally located a short walk from Westport Town and overlooking Clew Bay, our Glamping site is perfectly situated for a drive to Achill Island, cycling The Great Western Greenway or hiking Croagh Patrick.
