The space This main house suite includes keyless entry, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a wi-fi equipped office, in addition to a private patio and backyard (and the living room has a sleeper couch). Free street parking is available right out front. The house is located on a neighborhood greenway/bike boulevard and is 4 blocks from the greenery and playground of Hancock Park as well as a five minute walk to The People's Courts, Portland's premier indoor pickle ball facility and neighborhood hangout. You are a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and downtown Portland, and a 10 minute walk from the MAX light rail (Red, Blue and Green lines) connecting you to the airport, downtown Portland and surrounding areas. Guest access While the main house is yours, the host lives in the attached basement apartment with a quiet, loving dog who stays there part-time. There is significant sound-proofing and two locked doors between levels. Plus, both spaces have separate entrances and separate fenced backyard spaces. Host is happy to help out in any way, but will also give you complete privacy and space. Other things to note The host and her small dog live in the main house suite four months each year. In between their stay and the beginning of the season the house is given a deep clean.
