The space The cottage is medieval in origin and one of the oldest buildings in the village but it has been renovated to provide compact and comfortable accommodation. It is situated next door to the host’s property. Upstairs are two cosy rooms in the eaves: one double and a twin. Any guests who are over 6ft/1.8m tall, please be warned there are low ceilings throughout. Outside there is a private, enclosed garden with table and seating to sit and enjoy the birdsong and watch swallows swooping in and out of their nests. There is ample parking for two cars on the shared drive at the front of the property. Towels, hand soap, loo roll, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, laundry detergent, bin liners are provided. Other things to note 10 minutes to Salisbury. Close to New Forest, Stonehenge and Peppa Pig World. 40 minutes to Winchester. 1 hour to Portsmouth. 1 hour 30 to Oxford. The cottage has WiFi but due to our rural location it can sometimes be a bit hit and miss: streaming films for example. The kitchen and bathroom ceilings are 1.9m high and the first floor landing is under sloped eaves - the living room and bedroom ceilings are standard height.
