Pool, spa + family-friendly! Serene haven awaits

Welcome to my lovely, newly renovated home. Surrounded by gardens, endless places to relax and including a fabulous swim spa (4m pool with jets to lap swim against) and a separate 6 person spa. A haven for your Canberra stay! I was formerly a travel writer so always able to give lots of tips to my guests. *PET OWNERS* I've clicked 'yes' to pets but I wanted to really say: "Yes to well -behaved small pets that don't shed or dig up garden!"...so if you have a pet just message to discuss! The space Welcome to my serene, newly renovated home. Surrounded by gardens, outdoor spots to relax and including a fabulous swim spa (4m pool with jets to lap swim against) and a 6 person spa. (Lots of reviews are from before the house was renovated in 2022, all great before but it's way better now!) Sorry, absolutely no smokers - I'm totally allergic so even smoke from clothes etc a bit too much for me. I also don't love smoking outside - really do prefer non smoking guests fullstop. *PET OWNERS* I've clicked 'yes' to pets but I wanted to really say: "Yes to well -behaved small pets that don't shed or dig up garden!"...so if you have a pet just message to discuss :) *Lastly - this is not a permanent rental, it's our real life home (like the Airbnb of old...). We just rent it out when we are away. We'd love to host you, but please make sure you are comfortable staying in someone's home as it is quite different to staying in an impersonal hotel. Guest access The whole house, pool and swim spa all yours. Two bedrooms and a home office. 1 x queen sized bed, plus a bedroom with a single bed (kids bed with a climbing frame on it). I can also put a full single bed in the office if you like - it’s currently set up as an extra lounge area). *PET OWNERS* - If I've approved your non-shedding, non garden digging pet, they'll love using the dog doors out to the fully fenced, grassy backyard. We also let our dog out the front when we are supervising her - she likes to drink from the little waterfall/pond (!), but the front is only partially fenced. Other things to note You'll love the swim spa and front yard - perfect for hanging out from morning to night or between Canberra outings. I keep the pool at a balmy 29 degrees celcius and the spa at 38 degrees! The pool is 4m long, 1.5m deep and has jets for swimming against - kids also love playing with these on. Hours of entertainment. The pool area is all fenced to Australian regulations. There's also a natural pond which makes a lovely natural sound when you are sitting outside on the decking, there's even lights at night. I have a small BBQ on my side deck, and a lovely 4 seater outdoor setting under the trees - perfect for chilling out at the end of the day (it's also sunny here in winter). This area is lovely for breakfast under the silver birch trees and looking onto the cherry blossoms and roses in the front yard. It's also next to a fire pit with log seating and a wooden bench seat and you are welcome to use the wood pile (as long as no fire bans!).
