Safari tent at Camping Berkel

Camping Berkel is a small-scale family and farm campsite located in a valley of the Luxembourg Ardennes, surrounded by a beautiful hilly landscape. The campsite is located on the river Sûre and has a natural, cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Glamping is the trend of the moment! Sleep under a tent canvas, but in a box spring bed. You can do that in these two beautiful safari tents. They are fully and luxuriously furnished but without losing the feeling of camping. The space The tents are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen and a 'safari chef', this is a kind of extensive skottelkbraai with many cooking possibilities. Each tent has two separate sleeping areas with two box spring beds in one and a bunk bed in the other. You can relax in one of the hammocks or relax under the awning on the bottom of the tent. The campsite itself is located on the river Sûre. During the summer, this is a shallow river, a playground for children and a delicious refreshment for everyone. Washing and drying can be done at reception and there is a centrifuge that can be used free of charge. You can order freshly baked sandwiches daily at the campsite. To make your stay even easier, bed linen and towels are available for rent. Camping Berkel is a farm campsite, you have the opportunity to bring your children in close contact with the animals and of course everyone can help with feeding the cows. Furthermore, one can encounter cats, dogs and geese around the farm Wifi is free and available in the recreation area next to the reception Pets and smoking are not allowed in the tents. Guest access The sanitary building consists of two parts each with two showers and two cabins with sinks. Part of the farm features a bar with a pool table, dartboard and library. Outside, drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace where a cozy and atmospheric fire basket is waiting for you. Next to the terrace there is also a recreation area where there is a table tennis and football table. The campsite has several playgrounds and a large trampoline. Almost every night a cozy fire burns in the large campfire circle that is located on the same field as the Safari Tents. There is a snack bar at the campsite which is open every day during the months of July and August. Here you can buy pizzas, snacks and fries. Other things to note The campsite is quite remote. Facilities such as restaurants and supermarkets are therefore not close by.
