Cool Georgian Room for 1 person Ck in by 4pm

My place is a victorian property superbly located at the meeting point of Oxford's historic High Street & the famous Cowley Road. It is an annex of a family home, with flexible accommodation for solo adventurers and business travellers. Nearby are bus links to London & Airports, Colleges, Botanical Gardens, lovely restaurants & cafes and parks. This apartment is almost in the centre of Oxford and we think you will get the full flavour of all sides of Oxford life. The space An eccentric and English home with old floorboards, original fireplaces, intriguing items and vintage boutique interiors and comfy beds. We do our very best to keep the place clean and spotless but this is not a shiny, new, modern place - it's a bit rough around the edges :) The house is very large. You will meet family and staff. There are up to 3 Airbnb guests each guest room is single occupancy to keep a feeling of uncrowded peace. This room is warm in winter cool in summer but single glazed with original windows so expect street noise and light. Black out blinds have been provided as well as velvet curtains. Guest access Shower room with a toilet. The place has a kitchenette for preparation of simple and ready made meals. It features with full tableware, a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and a toaster. Please note that the front door and downstairs hallway of the apartment is shared and communal for necessary maintenance During your stay We welcome the guests to give them keys and show them around. If there are any questions We will be available by telephone or email. There are often family members who may be able to help. The shop downstairs is open 6 days a week 10 till 5 and most Sundas 12 till 4pm and they can help with any problem and we are often there : ) Other things to note This room is for single occupancy only. Additional guests may be allowed on request well in advance. Guests must be over 25 years old with a basic level of spoken English. Please note that breakfast is not included. But the breakfast facility area comprises tea/coffee making equipment, microwave, toaster, refridgerator, water dispenser, cutlery and crockery. Used Cutlery and crockery are regularly washed by us, so feel free to leave these used dishes on the side table in the kitchenette area, don't worry about having to wash these yourselves. A full catering service of home-cooked meals & beverages are available from the Tick Tock Cafe next door at very reasonable prices. These are available for home delivery on/in crockery or in takeaway containers. Street noise can be heard from this room. We suggest bringing earplugs especially if you are a light sleeper. On occasion the house can be noisy depending on how busy it is. Check out is at 11am, please leave the keys in the bedroom door. If you would like to leave your luggage to collect later, you may leave them outside the bedroom. Then to collect, pop into the Ballroom Emporium shop between opening and closing hours for someone to let you back into the house by 4pm or by arrangement : )
