The guest unit is on the ground floor of a two-floor wooden house built in 1935. It suits guests who wish to stay close to city center and need parking. Nestled on the hillside, at an elevation of 140 meters above sea level, our house offers great views of the fjord & mountains. You also need to prepare for a steep uphill walk in some places. From the house to Bryggen it is a pleasant 1.5-kilometer downhill walk. The nearest bus stop is 300-500m (multiple routes) away & 60m below the house. The space The house is divided into two floors with guests accommodated on the ground floor while hosts reside on the upper floor/attic. A foldable door separates the two floors. The guest unit encompasses approximately 60 square meters and comprises a living room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room (shared, but we will avoid using it when having guests). The guest unit has a kitchenette (includes microwave oven, water boiler, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, and basic tableware & cutleries). Guests have access to the full kitchen which is located on the main floor of the house. In the living room, you will find a sofa, a large TV & a dinning corner. The living room connects with garden where guests can enjoy scenic views of the sea and mountains. There are two bedrooms in the space. The main bedroom features a double bed (1.5 m * 2.0 m), along with a built-in wardrobe. The single bedroom has a bed measuring 0.90m x 2.0m. The bathroom has been recently renovated and boasts a modern and spacious design. It includes both a hand and overhead shower, but without bathtub. Guest access Guests have own entrance and garden access. Other things to note The apartment is situated 140 meters above sea level and free parking is available on site. It is 60 meters (in elevation) above the closest bus stop Mulen (300-500m in distance). Therefore it can be heavy to walk uphill with suitcases to the property.
