The cottage is located in the forest 30 minutes from the airport/Santa Claus village, on the beautiful shores of the Kemijoki River. Here you can experience the real nature of Lapland, the starry sky and the forest. The cabin has drinking water and electricity, as well as electric heaters. Wood-fired sauna. The kitchen and dining area of the cottage are well equipped. As separately agreed, I offer activities: Trip to Korouoma 90€/person, Breakfast 15€/person, Salmon on a campfire 60€/person. I live in the courtyard myself, and I can be reached if necessary. The space The cottage is a traditional Finnish log cabin, in the middle of a fairy-tale pine forest. The cottage is located on the banks of the Fantasite river. *Living room/kitchen with the necessary cooking and dining utensils. Large traditional dining table, sofa and armchair. *From the kitchen you can climb the stairs to the sleeping loft with a 160 cm bed. The space has an open view of the kitchen. *Downstairs there is a bedroom with a 140 cm wide double bed. There is a door to the bedroom. *Bathroom/toilet: shower, toilet seat and sink. *There is a wood-fired sauna in the cottage. Firewood is included in the rent. *The cottage is heated by electricity as well as a backup fireplace and a baking oven. The host will take care of the heating for you. Guest access Guests are allowed to use all the facilities when you follow the house rules. Other things to note Are you sure you want to have an authentic experience and stay in a traditional cottage? There are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby. I'm staying in the courtyard and I'm close if you need help. When you want to visit Santa's village or town, you need a rental car or taxi.
