The very special ‘Villa Olivia’ is a charming 16th Century stone farmhouse, restored in the traditional Umbrian style. Set peacefully on rolling slopes amidst olive groves and vineyards, just a couple of minute's drive from the beautiful Montefalco. The space *Note: Renovations have been made to the house, the pool is refurbished, also with a terracotta paving. The kitchen has also been renovated. Also please note: The pool is not fenced so not suitable for toddlers. Villa Olivia a magical spot perfect for an idyllic Umbrian holiday. There are two double bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a sunny living area, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There's a good sized pool surrounded by a beautiful garden full of olive trees and aromatic Italian plants, with great views over the Montefalco countryside. There are a number of shady spots for al fresco dining or an evening aperitivo. Not far away are any number of local wineries, restaurants and bars, and it's a perfect base for visiting all the most famous Umbrian towns such as Spoleto, Assisi, and Norcia. Villa Olivia is superbly located in the golden triangle of Umbria, only 3 km from Montefalco. Heavy with medieval atmosphere, Montefalco is undoubtedly one of Umbria’s finest examples of a hill top town. Seeped with an artistic heritage, its maze of tiny cobbled streets open onto an impressive piazza. This beautiful town is small enough to retain a feeling of intimacy, but big enough to provide good amenities such as a bank, grocery stores, a hairdresser and some excellent local restaurants and wine bars. Montefalco is well located for exploring much of Umbria and Tuscany. The town is often referred to as ‘La Ringhiera dell’Umbria’, ‘the balcony of Umbria’. It sits on a solitary hill overlooking the mountain-flanked Vale of Spoleto, with fantastic views of the nearby towns of Assisi, Perugia, Bevagna, Foligno, Spello and Trevi. The surrounding countryside is perfect for sightseeing, walking or cycling. Many of the Tuscan towns such as Siena and Montepulciano make good day trips. The Villa can sleep a maximum of six guests. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double bed & two single beds. Each bedroom has a private, en-suite bathroom. Guest access Guests are renting the entire Villa and will be the only occupants during their stay. Guest have access to everything that is in the house: private pool, Sky Tv + Streaming services, terrace, kitchen, outdoor dining, WiFi available in every room of the villa - great for working holidays. Other things to note Pets are more than welcome and the property is fully fenced in. The pool is seasonal and is open from June until the end of September. Internet speed up to 300+ mbps with stable WiFi throughout the entire Villa. There are two separate TV rooms both with 55” smart TVs.
