Hello nature lovers and everybody who enjoys staying away from the crowds! Secret Valley Apartment is located only 4 kilometres away from Bled Lake (5 min drive). It is set at the bottom of a sunny and quiet valley next to the river Sava Dolinka and an old hydro-plant. The house is found at the end of a short gravel road, surrounded with forest and so close to the river that you can enjoy it's gentle sound. The area is called Piškovca and is part of protected areas Natura 2000. The space The apartment is big and spacious, designed in rustic farmhouse style but still modernly equipped with all you need for a cosy stay. It is spread out over two floors and has 2 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 5 people (1 double bed and 3 single beds). Couch in the living room can be extended into an extra bed for the sixth and seventh person, if needed. Couch is spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped living room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping rooms make up for a great and no-stress stay. Apartment is also baby friendy (we can offer you a crib, high dining chair, small table, toys and children books). A big plus is a sunny balcony that is great for morning coffee with the view, lunch or just hanging out. Guest access Apartment is easy to reach by car (5 minutes drive from Bled centre, 10 minutes drive from highway) and has a private parking (1 spot). If you will be coming with more cars, you can park for free 200m away from the apartment. The nearest public transport is in Bled town. The nearest grocery store is in Zasip village (3 min by car), supermarket can be found in Bled town. Nice way of getting into town and to the Lake can be by bike (20 minutes), this way you can avoid the hustle with parking in Bled. There is a moderately demanding but manageable hill to bike up from the valley. Just behind the house there is a hiking trail that takes you to Vintgar gorge and to a nearby hill Hom (nice view point). There are many hiking and biking options around and we are happy to give you suggestions and help you plan an active day. By the river you can find some beach spots. There is usually not many people around so you can mostly have them just for yourself. Other things to note Besides a calm stay in the nature we offer you a variety of activities - we have SUP boards to rent so you can explore Bled Lake with them, we organise rafting trips on the Sava Dolinka River, canyoning, paragliding,... A fun and interesting activity that is close by is also Zipline Dolinka, which is the longest zipline in Europe.
