The Green House on the Pinard Bridge

In the heart of Semur, this former winemaker's house of more than 130 m² combines charm and history with its period tommettes, exposed beams and authentic stone walls. Its unobstructed view of the medieval towers, the Pinard Bridge and the Armançon is arguably the most beautiful in the city — breathtaking views also from the garden… Spacious, comfortable and ideally located, it welcomes families, couples or stays with friends. Up to 10 people on request The space The house opens onto an entrance that distributes the different spaces. You will find a very well-equipped open-plan kitchen with a bar, ideal for cooks, open to the living and dining room. The large living room, cozy and comfortable, has a quality sofa bed, which can be partitioned by a curtain for more privacy. A pellet stove located just in front of the sofa creates a warm atmosphere, ideal for quiet evenings. A flat-screen TV area gives access to Canal+, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount, etc. A piano is also available (if you know how to play!) The furniture adds a touch of character and comfort to each room. The windows, present in every space, offer exceptional views of the Armançon and the Pinard Bridge, for a unique and soothing setting. Upstairs, an open space accommodates two single beds, a library and games available for children. This space serves two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a single bed. Single rollaway beds can be added upon request. Bathroom with bath, separate WC. Linens and towels are provided, and beds are prepared for your arrival. Also access to the garage with laundry area: dryer, washing machine and dryer. An enclosed and non-attached garden, accessible only a short walk away, offers wonderful views of the city. A private parking space is available in the cul-de-sac. Check-in from 3pm: the house is open, the keys are on the table with the instructions. Check out no later than 11am. Guest access To access the house, you can arrive either by the Pinard Bridge, a historic bridge that offers a beautiful view of the Armançon, or by the national road which is a little higher. Once there, you will arrive in a quiet and picturesque street, lined with old houses typical of Semur-en-Auxois. The house is located in a discreet cul-de-sac, guaranteeing tranquility, but remains close to the historic center and its amenities. You will easily find a private parking space in the cul-de-sac, right next to the entrance. Other things to note My house is ideally located in Semur, just 5 minutes from the city center, while being quiet. It offers great amenities and a large space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Semur is the perfect base for exploring the region. The city is located between Beaune, Dijon, and the Paris/Beaune/Lyon road. The Morvan and its lakes are a few hairpin bends away. Here you can enjoy many walks, visit castles, explore medieval villages… and find activities for the kids. Lake Pont, with its nautical activities, is only 3 km away, accessible via a bike path. You can also find the Museoparc, swimming pool, zoos, and many other attractions to fill your days. While enjoying the calm of the countryside, you will have access to all the local shops: restaurants, cafes, bakeries, independent bookstores... Semur-en-Auxois, with its timeless charm, cobblestones, the sound of the Armançon and its varied walks, will offer you both moments of relaxation and cultural discoveries. The city offers many festivals throughout the year, as well as a theater and a cinema for culture lovers. Its rich and varied historical heritage is a real invitation to explore. IMPORTANT: bed sheets and bath towels are provided, beds are made. But cleaning is not included in the rental of the house. Check-in is from 3 pm: the house is open, the keys are on the table with instructions. Check-out is at 11:00 AM maximum.
