Visit England rated 5*Gold, The Old Stables accessible cottage in Nordham is a gem! C17th stone walls, beams, with underfloor heated slate flooring: user friendly for all. Non-smoking property. (Meets access needs to M3, V1, H1). Two twin/super-king rooms, both ensuite. One bedroom with wet-room is accessible with alarm to other smaller room. Accessible driveway to covered garage and into house, all flat. Sunny courtyard sensory garden with water feature &distant woodland view. Just perfect! The space The space is homely & welcoming. Contemporary property with traditional comforts. The bathrooms are brand new with top quality. The kitchen is Shaker style in appealing grey/green, with grey granite resin worktop. Throughout the cottage it is cosy & comfortable, & hopefully we have thought of everything. Why not be amongst the first to try it out this season? We’ve been in the holiday cottage world for over 15 years so have lots of experience at what makes a good holiday home. Guest access All parts of the cottage are open to guests . The cottage is solely for your use during your stay. Other things to note *We have a cot available for your use and also a high chair. There’s room in the accessible bedroom for a cot and room, just outside the other room for a cot in the hallway. *We are happy for you to bring one well behaved small dog. For dog wheeled walks, there’s wonderful parkland 2 minutes walk from the cottage, (the gravel resin courtyard garden isn’t suitable for dog toileting) . *We do not accept cats due to allergies. *Want a ‘wild’ time?The accessible North Cave Wetlands are a short distance from the cottage and 2 of the hides are wheeled accessible. There’s also The Wild Bird Cafe which serves great bacon sandwiches for a morning start! The paths are compacted stone, not tarmac. *Want a wheeled walk for a special coffee? Walk or wheel through Hotham Park to the Silver Bullet, where Lou will make you a coffee with accompanying treats and sit enjoying the parkland. *Fancy fish and chips? Walk or wheel to The Catch in the village and enjoy your renowned F&Cs with a pint from the pub next door!
