Portage Lake Sunset Escape

Enjoy spectacular sunsets from this beautiful, duplexed home nestled in wild greenery overlooking Portage Lake. You have private use of the entire walk-out lower level facing the lake with a covered patio, open floor plan, granite/butcher/stainless steel kitchen, games, pool table, puzzles, and washer/dryer. The bedroom area has cherrywood furnishings and a king sleigh bed with a Dream Cloud Premium mattress. Lake access is a short walk, a DNR boat launch, Kayak, boat rental, marina are 1 mile. The space The peaceful outdoors provide a private, natural atmosphere and views that are relaxing. This space is my home and you get to benefit when I am away. It's designed with that kind of care rather than a rental space. It's an open floor plan, including the bedroom which is separated by floor-to-ceiling curtains (pictured). Separate private laundry room. Dishwasher, Microwave, Gas Cooking, Gas Grill. Being on the hill provides views from inside of the lake and trees, but not of people unless you are close to the glass looking down. PLEASE NOTE there is another rented home above this one. Despite the sheet rock ceilings you will hear walking when someone is there. There are no dogs upstairs any longer and the unit is currently vacant. Guest access There is a second full time rented unit on upper part of the home and main entrance. The entire private lower unit of the home has a separate private entrance. This unit is complete with your full kitchen, stand up shower, patio, and a side yard and private walkway to enter the unit. You will need to walk on the grass a little way to get to the walkway. You will hear the upstairs when there are full-time tenants. Pets are no longer allowed upstairs. Other things to note Dogs are not allowed upstairs or in this unit. The upstairs unit is currently vacant but should be rented by August 1st. There is a review mentioning the noise upstairs. There used to be several large dogs. We've done work in order to reduce the sound from upstairs.
