Home in Palo Alto

Our family home can be your family's retreat while you are in Palo Alto. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an office with a pull out bed, a great room, a guest room and a fantastic outdoor dining area. Close to Stanford University. Silicon Valley. Family. The space Our family home has 3 bedrooms plus an office with a pullout queen sized sofa bed. Comfortably sleeps 9. Quiet street, lots of trees and great Palo Alto weather. We've also recently added a deck and hot tub in our side yard, and a guest room in the back yard. Keep in mind this is our family home where we live the majority of the year - not a full time vacation rental. Guest access You will have access to the whole house, garden and chickens! You don't have to care for the chickens at all, but if you want fresh eggs - help yourself! We'd prefer if you didn't eat up our entire garden, but if something is looking ripe - go for it! You are free to use the hot tub, but we ask that you rinse off before entering. Please let us know f you have any questions about the operation of the hot tub. The temperature should be set to 103F. Other things to note We do have one indoor/outdoor cat that will likely keep you company. His name is Pepper. Again, you don't need to care for him, and he can be locked out of the main house (but not the laundry room). If you're highly allergic to cats then this might not be the place for you. If you're open to feeding him once a day we'd be grateful. Otherwise, we'll have our neighbors feed him. Let us know!
