We may need to pass through the living room on occasion to get into the laundry room or for shelter during a severe weather warning. We typically do laundry on Mondays and Thursdays and will do our best to stay upstairs during your visit. We'll notify you in advance before coming down. There is pantry shelving and a clearly marked space in our laundry room for our own storage. Please respect our private spaces. Thank you! During your stay Relaxing Alone or Feeling Social? When we’re home, we’re happy to meet your preferred level of socialization. We can chat with you over coffee or let you enjoy the space privately. Just let us know how we can fit your needs! We’re just a text message away. Other things to note We like to be transparent. Please ask if you have any questions: -We have a toddler and enjoy a Montessori lifestyle. -We have a hypoallergenic puppy in shared space only. -There may be an occasional train that goes by just beyond our backyard. The sound is soft, like a washing machine: low, rumbling noise. -The water softener drains water into the tub sink in the laundry room about once per day. It makes a water splashing sound. -Video surveillance at entrance and in shared spaces for safety, including laundry room. -Stairway ceiling height ranges from 6'0" - 6'7". If you are that tall, please watch your head as you walk up/down.
