You'll feel like you've stepped into another world with its authentic Japanese decor, textiles, books, and refreshments, tucked off a quiet street in popular funky/artsy West Asheville, a short walk to amazing restaurants, music venues, and breweries. Quick access to Downtown, River Arts District, Biltmore Estate & Blue Ridge Parkway. The space Clean, modern aesthetic complete with books, art and textiles from the owner's own collection. Furnishings and decor create a peaceful, comfortable, uncluttered experience. The suite has two spacious bedrooms with queen beds, a large living room and custom bath as well as a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, filtered water, and electric kettle. Amenities include complimentary coffee, tea, mineral water, and snacks. There are two TVs w/Netflix & Prime streaming, wifi, supplemental air filtration, and off-street parking. Keeping with Japanese tradition, the guest area is shoeless. There is a flight of stairs to climb -- we live quietly on the ground floor. Just 1/2 mile walk to central West Asheville, home to live music venues, restaurants, breweries, murals and shops with an alternative vibe that sets it apart from downtown. Guest access There is parking area reserved for guest use that is large enough for 2 cars. Street parking is also available on the west side of the street only, if needed. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, perfect for evening walks or morning runs, with several playgrounds within a few blocks for kids to play.
