Arendsnes is a fully furnished luxurious flat with lovely sea views. It is situated in Wilderness Nature Reserves and lies on the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of unparalleled beauty. The fully furnished and equipped private open plan two-bedroom apartment with parking. The veranda offers a beautiful view of the garden and sea, and sometimes the Knysna Loeries and Bush Bucks make their appearance. The space Wilderness has beautiful places to visit and things to do. Here are a few that can be mentioned: - The Outeniqua Farmers' Market in about 15km from Wilderness and is open on Saturdays with various things on display. You can treat yourself to a variety of foods, cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruits and many more. Another market to visit on Saturday mornings is the 'Wild Oats community Farmers' Market in Sedgefield, about 20 miles from Wilderness. It has a lovely atmosphere with various goods sold, from clothes, to artwork and delicious food Go and enjoy a delicious breakfast under the trees. - If you are adventurous, try "splitting, abseiling or paragliding". Eden Adventures offers "splitting and abseiling". For "tandem paragliding" try Cloudbase Paragliding or Dolphin Paragliding. - Enjoy whale watching along the coast, especially the migrating whales that come here between June and November. You can join Ocean Odyssey for a boat-based whale watching excursion that lasts 90 minutes to two hours. Although it operates from Knysna, it is only about 45 km from Wilderness. - The Seven Passes Road offers a wonderful ride through the native forest. Map of Africa overlooks the Kaaimans River Gorge and is a popular starting point for parachutists A stop along the Seven Passes road is the Woodville Big Tree. It is an 800 year old Outeniqua yellowwood that towers at 33 m above you and has a circumference of 12 m. - Enjoy Wilderness' long beaches Other things to note Smoking - Smoking is not permitted inside the unit. Designated outdoor areas may be used. No Parties or Events - Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted on the property. Pets - Not allowed / Allowed with prior approval. Damage & Loss - Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay. A replacement or repair fee may apply. Water - Please use water sparingly as this is a water-scarce area. Waste - There are extra black trash bags in the kitchen cupboard. If you need more, please let me know. You can daily leave the full bags outside the kitchen door. The municipality collects garbage every Tuesday morning around 7:00 AM. We will take care of putting the bags out for collection. Use of Facilities - Guests may use the swimming pool and other shared areas responsibly. Children must be supervised at all times. Swimming Pool - Adult guests are fully responsible for supervising children in the pool at all times. Maximum Occupancy - The unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Additional guests are not allowed without prior approval. Noise Policy - Please respect quiet hours between 22h00 and 8h00. Disturbances may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.
