Price includes coffee and teas for breakfast. This house is designed as a traditional converted barn house and is located in a quiet rural setting. Enter into an expansive open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with a wall of windows overlooking the wooded hills beyond. There's a comfortable seating area with a large sectional sofa, reclaimed wood coffee table on top of a beautiful Turkish rug. The Danish modern dining table seats four people and is adjacent to the kitchen which features European-style cabinetry, a gas-stove, large stainless-steel fridge, dishwasher and commercial-style kitchen island. There is also a half-bath downstairs for your convenience. The staircase leads you upstairs to your light-drenched bedroom with ample storage and a seating area. The large master bathroom and adjacent washer/dryer closet are at the end of the hallway. Beautiful wide-plank wooden floors run throughout. Parking is right outside the front door. At the rear is a bonfire pit with seating for your enjoyment. The host can provide firewood at your request for a small additional charge. Guests have access to all areas of the house and can store food and takeouts in the fridge, though are not allowed to cook in the kitchen. Feel free to enjoy the outdoor grounds. Typically, I will be staying at the house during your stay, and will greet you in person upon your arrival to give you the house key. If I am not on site when you arrive, there is a lockbox to the right of the entrance door that contains a key to the front door. I will send over the lock box code prior to your arrival. This is a rural setting between the villages of Middleburgh and Schoharie in the Helderberg Hills, just north of The Catskills. great for hiking, sampling local breweries and wineries, farm stands and cafes. Easy access to Albany, Cobleskill, Sharon Springs, and Cooperstown. Close to Routes 30, 88, and 90. Accessible by car only. Free on-site parking.
