Welcome to our Fort. Secluded and surrounded by nature, this loft style home sits on nine acres of land, designed to be a retreat in the truest sense. You can take in mountain views from every window which also floods the living area with beautiful all-day light. An upstate retreat in the truest sense. A board and batten hideaway framed by forest and mountains. This mountain retreat sits on 9 acres of land and features the beauty of each season. The interior was designed with tranquil simplicity in mind combining Wabi Sabi and Scandinavian elements. Large format windows display panoramic views from right inside the house. The scenery can also be enjoyed from the wrap-around porch which is one of the best features of the house. There is a fire pit, lounge chairs and a dining area in the fall/warmer months. Both bedrooms have a queen size Casper mattress and super soft cotton bedding for a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom is stocked with organic bath + body products. The kitchen is outfitted with your basic cooking needs with modern cookware, new appliances, a drip coffee maker and a french press. The house is equipped with AC and heat but the wood stove is preferable as it is a highly efficient way to keep the space warm in the colder months. Guests have access to our supply of wood stacked outside the house. The location of the home is nestled up on a very quiet country road within a 10 minute drive to Andes and 15 minutes to Delhi. Great places to explore like hiking trails, restaurants, breweries and shops. We have a list of recommendations that you will find in our guest book. We welcome your children but you are solely responsible for their safety, especially in the loft space and near the wood burning stove. Other things to note The cell service in the area is not great with certain providers, which is perfect for those looking to unplug for a bit. Please screenshot the check in instructions, wifi password and program your GPS prior to leaving for your trip. You can enable Wi-Fi calling once you have arrived + checked in. Washer and dryer available only for stays 4+ nights. There are simpli safe cameras by the exterior doors, as a safety precaution. We actively respect your privacy during your stay. A vehicle with 4WD is strongly recommended in the winter months.
