This is a rural oasis and is great if you enjoy being surrounded by wildlife and beautiful countryside. There are horses, cattle and pheasants. The garden borders are fully planted around the house and the garden walls which are made from the local stone. These along with the old timber barns and two apple trees frame the old farmhouse. There are many footpaths and bridleways in the area for walkers to enjoy. These start from the lane outside the house which is not busy. So there is no need to travel far from the house for a relaxing stay. Guildford is only 10 minutes away by car and other walks along the river and canal at Shalford are minutes away. There are many pubs in the area for lunch and dinner. The Grantly Arms at Wonersh is nearby and particularly good. Ali and her husband are excellent hosts and made us most welcome.?.....Foreign visitors will experience a bit of England's green and pleasant land. We hope to be back soon.
