The room is private and bathroom is shared. We offer a wonderful home in a suburban area in White Plains, NY. We are located only 10 minutes from Metro North (35 minutes from Manhattan) and convenient to local stores, restaurants, and shops. The space The room is 12 x 12 and has hardwood floors, color tv, cable, WiFi, outdoor patio, garden, and common living space. The bathroom was recently renovated and provide an oasis for your daily needs. The driveway provides off street parking but you need to make a reservation for the space. There are some basic breakfast items and feel free to join us for dinner when available. Guest access The guest has access to all the common areas (living room, kitchen & patios). A shelf in the refrigerator is also available, however, no cooking permitted. I will also provide the guest with any local travel information or sightseeing details. We are always happy to share our knowledge of the area with our guest. During your stay We are very social but respect the guest privacy and will honor that to the fullest. Other things to note Laundry service provided once a week for extended stays (l week or more) The maid comes on the weekend to do the laundry but does not iron. She will wash, fold and sort clothes for the guest. Dirty linen is limited to 1 full basket a week.
