Gorgeous Pender Island! Close to beaches, lake!

We are about a two minute walk away from Magic Lake (the boat launch end), and a two minute drive to the swimming hole. We back onto the famous disc golf park. Our suite is easy to find, sunny, and kid friendly! Pender Island is always beautiful, any time of year, and we have amazing hikes and beaches only minutes from our home. There is a restaurant (Truss), liquor store, and coffee shop (Slow Coast) only a few minutes down the road. We provide coffee and tea and usually a simple breakfast! The space Our suite is comfy and inviting but not posh! It will always be clean and neat but it is not polished and modern. We have a LazyBoy sofa bed that is very comfortable and sleeps two. It takes a little to set it up as it has a blow up mattress inside. I’m happy to set it up before your arrival but it will limit your living space. Alternatively I will leave instructions and you can set it up as needed. There’s lots of movies and a Wii, books, games and a few toys. We live upstairs…you’ll hear us. We also inhabit this suite when we aren’t hosting, so there will be evidence of our existence (clothes in the closet, etc.). My husband’s office is part of your space but it he will not use it when we have guests. There is NOT a fully equipped kitchen. We have a cat, so allergic folks beware! We have parking for ONE VEHICLE ONLY per group. If your group has more than one vehicle, there is parking down the road by the lake (about a two minute walk). Guest access The basement suite will be yours to relax in (minus the office). Our backyard is reserved for our own use, but there is a very rustic little area under the trees by your suite door for chilling or having a coffee. The lakefront is a nice place to hang out, and is only a very short walk away. There is also a park with a playground only about a one or two minute drive away, up Privateers road. Other things to note Full disclosure: this is a basement suite in our home. When we are home, you WILL HEAR US! There is not much for insulation between floors. We also will hear you! We also reserve one of the rooms in the suite for a home office but while you are there, it won’t be in use. It’s not always quiet as we’re going about our daily life. While we do our best to be respectful of guests and keep the noise down, some things are impossible to turn down (the blender, for example! And our kids voices. And sometimes we watch movies, which you may hear). We also live on a busy (for Pender) road, so you will hear traffic. I cannot have more than three guests at a time as our insurance policy won’t allow for more than that, so requests for four and up will be denied.
