The apartment features a spacious living area with a loft bed, creating an intimate and functional space (the bed model is Ikea STORÅ: height: 200 cm, mattress lenght: 200 cm, mattress width: 140 cm) The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare your favorite dishes (you will find basic condiments to start your holiday, in single serve packages as required by law), while the bathroom, with a shower and bidet, ensures maximum comfort. One of the highlights of Casa Luna is the terrace, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains. Leaning slightly, you can also admire the magnificent Lake Maggiore, just a few kilometers from the apartment. Located in the charming village of Nasca, a hamlet of the municipality of Castelveccana, the apartment is in an ideal position for nature lovers and outdoor activities, perfect for hiking, trekking, sailing, and mountain biking. To enjoy the activities in the area is better to have a car/motorbike/bycicle. Just 10 km from Luino, famous for its Wednesday's outdoor market, and 8 km from Laveno Mombello, where you can take the ferry to explore the Piedmont side of the lake and the beautiful Borromean Islands, Casa Luna is the perfect starting point to explore this enchanting area. Guest access There's a private, fenced parking lot a 3-4 minute walk from the house entrance, and you can see your car from the terrace. If you're looking for a property with parking literally outside your door, this isn't the place 😄 The parking lot isn't directly connected to the house: you'll have to walk a bit to get there. To access the private parking lot, there's a narrow road with a dirt section, as well as the parking area (dirt/gravel/grass). The parking lot currently doesn't have lights, so at night, you'll need to use your phone's flashlight to better see and find the main road. Although the parking lot appears very narrow, a van or SUV can easily pass through (tractors and pickup trucks usually do), but it's understandable that some people may have difficulty getting through. Keep in mind that almost all the streets here are quite narrow 😉 If you have one or two bicycles/motorcycles, you can park them in the private courtyard at the entrance (with a closed gate). If you prefer not to use the parking I provide, you can use the street parking spaces with white lines (the ones with yellow lines are for residents only: you'll risk a fine). There's one with a parking disc on the street a few meters from the apartment (after the church on Via Pasubio), and there are several free, unrestricted spaces in Piazza Municipio (230 meters from the apartment, 1 minute by car and 3 minutes on foot). If all these spaces are full, there are additional spaces on the streetside on Via Alla Maltra (500 meters from the apartment, 2 minutes by car and 5 minutes on foot). The summer months (especially July and August) are high season here, so finding parking is a bit more difficult. If you have an electric car the closest charging station is outside the Carrefour Market in via Martiri Albertoli 20, Castelveccana (1.2 km from Casa Luna). Other things to note On the same floor of Casa Luna there is another apartment with a neighbour: the two apartments share the terrace which is divided by a partition (you can't see each other). The neighbour is friendly and kind, but please always refer to me of you need any help (reach me via airbnb or mobile as I live downstairs) and respect her privacy. The bus stop is located in Piazza Municipio (3 mins walk from the house. The nearest supermarket (a small Carrefour Market) is 1 km away from the house (2 minutes by car/15 minutes on foot), as is the pharmacy, a pizzeria and a bar with a newspapers and cigarettes shop.
