This beautiful self contained one bedroom cottage has everything you need for the perfect time away. The space The cottage was built in the 1920s as a home for sawmill workers (the old sawmill across the road is now a sculpture workshop). Recently renovated with recycled timber and materials, this tastefully finished cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Sawmill Cottage has retained its heritage while also embracing modern comforts. There is a queen size bed with electric blankets, a very comfortable pull out couch, as well as a modern kitchen and bathroom. The fireplace is a perfect place to curl up in winter and read books or to play games or do a puzzle. Or perhaps unwind in the incredible pink bath, while you watch the moon rise through the window. You can wander in the garden and pick some herbs for your dinner. The kitchen has a new induction stove, which makes cooking a breeze. We aim to provide everything necessary to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, whether you’re cooking for yourself, eating out or hosting friends for dinner!
