La Mouette Rose - a zen guest house in Lauterbourg

Welcome to our small guest house, La Mouette Rose. It's in a calm location with a vast garden next to a forest in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe. The space The house is about 70 sqm. with two separate bedrooms and a toilet upstairs, and a kitchen + living room with a bed sofa on the ground floor, along with a bathroom. You have free wifi-access to high-speed internet, and have access to a vast private garden for relaxing, a BBQ or playing games. Guest access You have access to the complete house. We are only renting out the entire house to a single group. However, we are also renting out another house, Villa Maria, next to the Guest House, and there is a shared parking, and parts of the vast garden is also shared. Other things to note We want you to observe that it is strictly prohibited to smoke in the Guest House. Smoking outdoors is fine, but you need to put all your cigarette butts into the bin with a brown lid next to the parking, and not on the ground. Pets are not allowed. We have unfortunately had too many bad experiences with guests bringing their dogs. Please also note that the guest house has a somewhat steep staircase. It's thus not suited for people that don't like staircases, or think their children could get hurt, though you can close the doors to the adjacent rooms. The guest house is also not for people that don't like things that come with houses next to a forest like some insects and actually living spiders.. ;-) Please also note that we are renting out another house over Airbnb (search for Villa Maria Lauterbourg) next to the Guest House, and the parking and vast garden is partly shared between the two houses. If you have an electric car, you can use the standard outlet (no fast charging) for free on one of the pillars for the wood shed next to the parking.
