This is a home away from home, not an investment property meaning this home has all the basic essentials like laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilette paper, paper towels etc. You won't have to run to the store for a shopping spree to make this home functional. We also have two side by side full/size refrigerator/freezer units and three flat screen TV's. The main level, family room, and the basement family room, both have surround sound speakers, which really bring movies to life. The main level and upstairs have elevated ceilings. This is a tall very open traditional style home, inside and out. We have big high windows with views of large pines and scrub oaks also allowing light into the home. There is genuine hardwood flooring on the main floor, carpet & tile upstairs, carpet, tile and plank flooring in the basement. On the main level we have a foyer with a church pew, a full bath, an office with a door and a printer/copier/fax/scanner. There is also a living room, formal dining room (seats eight) with a butler's pantry, which serves as a coffee, tea and wine bar. There is a double sided gas fireplace with blowers that the formal dining room and great room share. The great room is open to the kitchen area. The laundry room is on the main level next to the 2 car garage entrance, containing commercial Maytag washer and dryer. The gourmet kitchen has duel ovens (one is convection), gas stove, microwave, desk, pantry, breakfast bar (seats three) and kitchen dining nook (seats six). The kitchen has natural hickory cabinets. In the Butler’s Pantry (located in the formal dining room) there is pour over coffee cone style available. There is also a large natural redwood deck with a table and chairs (seats 6). The deck area is very private with a forested slope behind the home containing natural large ponderosa pines and scrub oak. On the deck there is a stainless steel Lynx grill for your use. This grill in connected to the home's natural gas source. The fire pit sits in the pea gravel to the west side of the house with chairs surrounding it. As you look west and north, you are surrounded with natural pines and scrub oak. There is the sense that you are cradled by the ridge and large trees. While on the deck and at the fire pit, it almost feels like you are camping. There is wood near the deck for the fire pit. There are three bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom suite is on the east side of the house. The master bedroom suite has a large sitting room with a stacked stone gas fireplace, room darkening curtains, and a natural form (his and hers) adjustable (for softness) mattress. There are two cedar lined walk-in closets (his and hers). The master bathroom is designed with mediterranean tile and has two separate his and hers counters and sinks, each on opposite sides the bathroom (east and west). The shower has a built in bench and two shower heads. There is a large jetted soaking tub. The south side of the bathroom, from the counter/tub to the ceiling, are essentially a wall of windows which overlook the city and mountains. The blinds adjust from the top down and from the bottom up. The other two upstairs bedrooms are located on the west side of the house (across a bridge), share a double sink full bathroom (tub/shower). There are beautiful views from these bedrooms as well. There are black out blinds to enable you to sleep in. The basement has a full kitchen minus a cooking range, but the air fryer works quite well. There is an electric hot plate under the counter. The basement kitchen is has granite slab counters and cherry cabinets. The breakfast bar seats four. There is a standard drip coffee maker in this kitchen. There is a 60" TV, love seat, ottoman, and queen sofa sleeper in the basement great room area. There is also a home gym containing a Precor treadmill, Airdyne bike, with a weight bench and dumbbells. There are two large bedrooms in the basement with queen beds. They both have large closets, one has a walk in closet and is garden level. There is a duel sink vanity, large shower, ventilation fan, and heated tile flooring in the full basement bath. Guest access All spaces are available to you except for 3 locked storage closets in the basement and the garages which contain personal storage. You will have access to the two car garage in order to take out trash and recycling. Other things to note We are a fully licensed short term rental vacation property. Mostly homeowners reside in our neighborhood. Neighborhood quiet time starts at 10:00 PM during the week and 11:00 PM on the weekend nights. The deck is fairly private so as long as the music is not blaring and the socializing is not loud people can stay on the deck after quiet time.
