The property has views of the magnificent Forth Rail Bridge. All this within minutes of the local amenities, cafes, galleries, water sports, boat tours, historic homes and sandy beaches. Only 7 minutes walk to the train station and a 15 minute journey to Edinburgh, 40 minutes by bus and 15 minutes by car to the airport. You’ll feel like you’re in your own little world while still being part of the vibrant and welcoming Ferry community. A Quirky, Historic Space Spread across three floors, the townhouse is full of character and original features. The layout is unique: the bathroom is on the top floor and doesn’t have a door, which might not suit everyone. As with any 400-year-old property, some areas can smell a little damp at times—rest assured, there’s no water ingress, it’s just the charm of old stone walls! We believe these quirks are what make the space so special, offering an authentic taste of historic Scotland. Whether you’re exploring the local area or relaxing in your private retreat, we hope you’ll love it as much as we do. Guest access Your Edinburgh Townhouse Retreat Bedrooms: You’ll have two charming bedrooms—one with a cozy seating area and direct access to the garden, and another conveniently located on the ground floor. Bathroom & Living Spaces: The bathroom is located on the second floor (please note it doesn’t have a door) with fabulous views of the Forth Rail bridge. You’ll also enjoy a spacious lounge and a compact but well-equipped kitchen, all easily accessible from the main entrance on the High Street. Garden: A highlight of your stay will be the private, south-facing garden at the rear of the property—perfect for relaxing or enjoying a morning coffee. Parking: While there’s no direct parking with the property, we’re happy to guide you to free visitor parking just a short walk away. Please let us know in advance if you’d like details. We also kindly ask you to treat our home with care and be mindful of our lovely neighbours. Parking: Parking is limited on our charming high street, but we’re happy to suggest two nearby options if you let us know in advance.
