Le Refuge – Terre d'Horizon Auvergne

Located in the middle of nature at an altitude of 1200 meters, our bright accommodations offer you a 360-degree panorama, between the Sancy ridges, basaltic organs and the Dordogne valley, access to the sauna and Nordic bath (€10/pers. sauna, €20 bath, €25 bath + sauna), priority access 3 nights and more), the P'tit Café - bar restaurant and common room with free wifi. Towels €5. The space The Refuge is an apartment located at the top of an open staircase that directly serves 2 bedrooms, an equipped kitchenette, 2 bathrooms and 1 separate toilet. The living space is a large room shared with our other accommodations, located on the ground floor and composed of a sitting area with pellet stove, books, board games, and a dining room in which a table is reserved for you. It hosts the P'tit Café, open to all guests from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Breakfasts, meals and picnic baskets on order. Note, the doors of the 2 bedrooms close well with keys, but there is no separation door between the common room and the apartment at the top of the access stairs. A simple low barrier, however, prohibits access to the stairs. Guest access WARNING! In case of heavy snowfall, the house being located on an isolated road and at the top of a small hill, the last 250 meters (private road) may not be accessible by car, even equipped with snow tires or chains. It may even be possible that you have to park at the place called Le Mont, located 800 meters below.
