Welcome! Your perfect safari in Eswatini! This peaceful & private retreat is easy-to-access, and you're welcome to explore our game drive roads & beautiful network of walking trails at your own pace. Herds of wildlife often visit the Lodge (yours privately) & there is a wildlife watering hole within a 5 min stroll. The Lodge has stunning sunrise views, a refreshing private pool, STARLINK, and wide open spaces. We recommend 2-3 nights min; we have other Lodges nearby, for larger groups! The space Your health & safety are important to us! We have a 100% self-check-in (no front-desk, no forms to fill), and there are no daily visits from indoor cleaning staff, unless requested. Our staff are fully trained on best hygiene practices, and we maintain excellent standards so you can relax and enjoy your holiday! The lodge is stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. With 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms, it is perfect for 3-6 guests, though we can accommodate additional children on extra mattresses! The lodge is airy and open, with a large wrap-around verandah. Dombeya Game Reserve is a beautiful & unique place to enjoy nature up-close. Guests can hike on our trails and take their own game drives, stop to watch a herd of zebra or giraffe, or bring a picnic & bottle of wine to enjoy sunset at a wildlife watering hole. It is an amazing chance to slow down and enjoy the sights & sounds of nature in Africa, at your own pace. Our location is also very convenient and easy-to-access. We are about 30 minutes from the Skhuphe International Airport, 45 minutes from the Malkerns tourist route, and 1 hour from Mbabane, off of a good tar road (MR 5). Our entrance gate is 1 km off the tar road. Guests need their own transport to visit the Reserve; it is not suited for a visit via a taxi/public transport- apologies! The base price includes up to 2 guests. Please note that the pool does not have a fence, and there is no pool cover/net, so children must be under adult supervision at all times- thank you. We look forward to your visit! Guest access Guests have access to the entire Game Reserve, which is wonderful for game drives, walking, hiking, jogging & birdwatching. We have lots of wildlife- with no large predators- and several watering holes; it's a gorgeous place to enjoy nature up-close. Other things to note With 3 days notice, we can arrange an extra daily housekeeping service (tidying, washing dishes, making beds). Please let us know if you'd like this service, and we can send you additional details, including rates. Housekeeping is not included unless confirmed by prior arrangement. We have automatic, locked gates at the entrance of the Reserve. As soon as you've made your booking, we'll send you details about how to access and open the gates. It's helpful if you have a phone (for calling/Whats Apps/texting), but it is not essential! We also have a wonderful, free mapping app linked to all of our game drive roads and trails, so you can't get lost! We are fully committed to the health of our visitors and staff, and Dombeya has a 100% self-check-in policy. The lodges are very private, and lodge-staff are well-educated on hygiene best-practices, so you can relax and enjoy your visit!
