Perfect rental for a big family or group of friends. We are renting out our farm house AND our guesthouse, in the same package! The house sleeps 6 and guesthouse 2-4 people. Our beautiful country home offers a NEW big saltwater pool, barrel sauna, fire pit, pond and garage gym. The property sits on a beautiful 52 acres of land with a loop trail and a big pond. Welcome to our lovely home on the countryside! We rent out our guesthouse year round, but sometimes we will be rent out the entire property while we are traveling ourselves... This is truly the perfect place for a family, or a group of friends to get together and enjoy the sun/snow/holidays. And if you should need help with anything in the house, I can send my caretaker over who lives close by. We have a lot of great restaurants near by, and we are only 15 min from Hudson and 25 min from Great Barrington. The closest grocery is the amazing Hawthorne Valley farm store, and its only 3 min drive away. They have their own bakery and dairy farm, and really anything you need grocery wise. Our driveway is blacktopped, and we have room for several cars. We have recently put in a new beautiful 18/40 ft saltwater pool on the property. The pool is heated! We have 6 lounge chairs and 3 umbrellas by the pool. And an outdoor shower to rinse off in:-) The pool has an automatic cover, that not only protects its from leaves and holds in heat, but it also provides safety. A person can walk across it (although this is obviously not something anyone should be doing;-)), but it DOES provide safety for kids for example, when closed... Please note that we have a very friendly farm cat named Scruffy on the property. He's very sweet and loving, and is basically thinks he's the king of the castle... He's an indoor/outdoor cat, has an automatic feeder and is living life. He comes into the house to hang and to eat his food, in his "safe" area in our utility room, where he always hangs out. That said, when we are traveling our dog will be away, so Scruffy might take the opportunity to sneak further into the house and hang out...;-) If you're bringing a dog, you're probably not gonna see him much. He prefers to stay away when theres a dog around... We have a chicken run with 11 chickens on the property. I will have my caretaker come and feed them, so you don't have to worry about them at all... But if you would like, feel free to grab the eggs they will provide every day ;-)
