Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Cottage is a lofted cabin with a queen bed on the loft and a fullsize pullout sectional. Full bathroom with a full size shower/bathtub. The Hill itself is comprised of 20 acres, devided by a large pond. Wildlife is also a regular sight on The Hill. Whitetail Deer, Beaver, Bobcats, Ducks and Geese have all been guests on The Hill and you might just see them during your stay. Enjoy a campfire during your stay around the fire ring. Our guests are welcome to bring their own firewood. Guests are welcome to fish. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing an overgrowth of lily pads on the North pond, which has crowded the pond and may make fishing difficult. We apologize for any inconvenience. You will also have access to the Amazon Fire Stick with Hulu, Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and HBO Guest access Guests have access to a majority of the property. We just asked that you give everyone that is staying on the property, their space. Other things to note On The Hill, we host several other small cabins as well as RV slips on the property. I also live on the property and am in the process of building a homestead. There are domesticed chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys on the property. If you ask, we might even have some fresh eggs! We also want to make sure our guests are aware, there is a potential for noise. There is and active railroad nearby. Mokan Speedway has races on the weekend in the spring, summer and early fall. Be aware we are located in the country. There is a chance you will see a critter of some sort out and about. Please keep in mind that we are not The Ritz but we strive to provide a comfortable and affordable stay for our guests.
