Relax, unwind and enjoy the slower pace of Barwon Heads, a popular destination at the mouth of the Barwon River. Soak up the coastal scenery all year round and find a beach for every occasion, from renowned surf breaks to river beaches and snorkelling grounds. Wander along the white sand, while away the day in friendly cafes, mooch around the boutique shops or work on your swing at some of the finest golf courses in the state. Please note we have a NO SCHOOLIES policy. The space The House This deceptively large north facing house is built around the in-ground pool and spa. The outdoor decked area is well equipped with lounges to relax and read that book or just lap up the sunshine. The "dining" deck area is covered by a Vergola to provide shade from the summer sun or cover from the rain. Should it become a little chilly there is heating in the Vergola to keep you cosy outside. The deck also houses a Weber for those perfect BBQs. The house itself features four bedrooms and sleeps 9. The bedrooms are configured as follows: - Master bedroom with King size bed and ensuite - Second bedroom with King size bed - Third bedroom with Queen size bed - Fourth bedroom with 2 x king single beds, and 1 trundle The 2 large living areas contain split cycle air-conditioners and heaters. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans with additional portable fans available if required. A log fire for the cold winter nights is just perfect to curl up in front of. If you like TV then this house is for you. There is a large flat screen smart TV in each living area (one with foxtel) and TVs in each bedroom. No need to fight over what to watch! Other features include a table tennis table, pool table, games and an assortment of books and DVDs. A playground and open area directly across the road is perfect for a game of cricket or kick of the footy. A Port-a-cot and highchair are also available if required. It is a perfect house for the golfer with Barwon Heads and Thirteenth Beach Golf Courses just a moment away while The Sands at Torquay is a 15 minute drive. Attractions The river and surf beaches, the golf courses (Barwon Heads and Thirteenth Beach) both within five minutes. The historical towns of Queenscliffe, Portarlington, Ocean Grove, Torquay and Anglesea are all within 30 minutes by car. The world famous Bells Beach is only 25 minutes away. The famous winery estates of the Bellarine Peninsula. Geelong and its own historical sites is only 20 minutes away and in winter footy fans have the opportunity to watch a match at the new world class stadium. The Great Ocean Road, Lorne and the beautiful Erskine Falls are less than an hour away.
